Dear Coach McKinney,

I am writing to THANK YOU for all of your support during DJ’s high school years. The training and support you provided through your camps and baseball programs were of tremendous help and encouragement to DJ and other kids on the teams you taught and coached.

The years of hard work in baseball finally paid off with DJ being drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the June 2009 MLB Draft. DJ reported to the AZL Cubs excited and he was blessed to take with him the lessons learned from outstanding coaches like you. He only stayed in Arizona for a couple weeks and has been moved up with to Low A.

I hope you continue to work with children in the Hampton Roads area because your program teaches fundamental baseball skills as well as insight to the world of baseball. Again, THANK YOU!
